Holidays in CornwallCornwall is steeped in history, culture and mystery, however cliched that may sound. The county is really a country, and has been for millennia. The Romans never even conquered the land truly. | North Cornwall holidays are full of options for activities and nights out. You will have seen some of the highlights on the attractions page, but this is only the tip of the iceberg. Make sure you visit Rough Tor for instance, one of Cornwall's highest points, and part of the stunning Bodmin Moor landscape. This is also close to a place called Slaughterbridge, named after a battle that took place centuries before. King Arthur's shadow hangs over this land heavily, from the River Camel, to Goss Moor where he hunted deer. Make sure you do not just drive down the A30 and ignore the land around you. You will miss out on so much. |
